I don’t think it get’s much more beautiful than an Annapolis Maritime Museum wedding. I had the privilege of photographing a wedding here recently and I knew I wanted to come back for a styled shoot. We’re coming up on almost a year from the day that I photographed this styled shoot in collaboration with Katie from Rose Gold Events & Styling! What’s up Weddings Magazine (who published this in a 10-page feature of their spring/summer 2017 issue) describe the shoot as “Nautical style without any of the cliches” and I’m inclined to agree.Read More
I wish I could tell you where Brad and Sarah’s story began, but it was so long ago that the details of it are all hazy to me. Brad is three years younger than me, so we passed each other briefly in high school when I was a senior and he was a freshman. I knew some of his friends by name, but not all of them, and when he started dating Sarah a few years ago he said, “You remember Sarah, right? Blonde hair, we used to ride dirtbikes together.” I recognized the name but that was about it! Even now, they still have classroom notes they passed to each other from back in the day, before they ever thought they’d be standing under a giant tree in front of their friends and family to start a forever kind of love.Read More
The bride is Puerto Rican, so the couple paid homage to her roots with lots of Latin dancing all night long! They chose to do standing food stations, so guests could enjoy dinner and dancing at the same time, and once the dancing began (before dinner!) the dance floor was never once empty. The bride got ready on her parents' yacht and sported Chuck wedges and Ray-Bans with her Rosa Clara gown. Her colors, "Shocking Pink & Rose Gold" showed up in every part of their day!Read More
Katie and Mike's wedding at The Tidewater Inn in Easton, MD was one of those perfect winter weddings. The couple and their families were so much fun, and truly we're focused on creating a memorable experience for them and their guests.Read More
Eric and Colleen celebrated their wedding together in September.
I first met the Hohn Family in 2015 when Colleen’s sister, Maureen got married. It was such a special experience to come and photograph another wedding for their family. The Hohn’s are always so sweet and welcoming, they made Phil and I feel as if we were a part of the family!
Love. It’s why we are in this business. We believe in it and are so lucky that we get to witness it so often. It’s what gets couples to their big day and what kicks off their marriage strong. It is unique to every couple and that is what makes each love story so great.Read More
Courtney & Drew celebrated their wedding day surrounded by loved ones and the Inner Harbor! They tied the knot at the 1840s Plaza – a stunning Baltimore venue, and the whole day was easy and beautiful! I loved their navy, cream, and merlot color scheme – it matched their venue perfectly! Courtney and Drew opted for a first look so that they had more time to party with their guests, and it really made the pace of their whole day relaxed and simple. I’ve got to say – Courtney surprised me with her wedding style! She’s a really down-to-earth girl at heart, but she decided to go glam for her bridal look and it could not have been more perfect! And of course, Drew was happiest when he was looking at his gorgeous bride, and on the dance floor! These two tore it up at the reception with their stellar dance moves. It was such a fun party!Read More
